English-language Critical Thinking and Literature Program

This course is designed to help teenagers develop fact-based, objective, and analytical thinking skills, along with complex problem-solving abilities. Through the exploration of various concepts, students will learn to make informed decisions in English.

The program equips high-school students for admission to top international universities, awarding a certificate upon successful completion.

Program Focus

While enhancing English language proficiency, the course also emphasizes the development of key skills and competencies, including:

  • Academic reasoning in English

  • Observation, objectivity, and articulating well-founded opinions

  • Analytical and logical thinking

  • Assessing relevance and forming arguments in English

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Tackling complex problems and drawing sound conclusions

  • Self-reflection, intellectual persistence, and motivation

Students will engage with English texts, honing their comprehension skills and analyzing ideas from multiple perspectives. They will make thoughtful decisions, explore how texts and critical thinking apply to real-life situations, and strengthen their communication for better societal integration. Additionally, non-native speakers will enhance their English skills, with an emphasis on expressing their thoughts more clearly and effectively.

Teaching and Learning Methodology

Classes are conducted in small groups, with an individualized approach for each student.

Interactive sessions involve renowned works, case studies, role-plays, brainstorming, debates, critical thinking exercises, presentations, and news analysis. All activities are in English, taught by experienced American instructors.

Led by seasoned educators from the U.S. with extensive teaching backgrounds, this program equips students with the tools to excel academically and personally.

Classes are held twice a week, with each lesson lasting 1.5 hours. The full course runs from October 1 to June 30.

The program is designed for students aged 13 to 18. Admission is based on an interview, and non-native English-speaking students are required to have at least a B1 level of proficiency. Each group consists of 8 to 12 students.

The course fee is 350 GEL per month, which includes extra sessions featuring engaging guest speakers.

Upon completion, students receive a certificate, and top performers will be recommended for university applications.
